APRIL………MY PRIVILEGE TO SERVE

April was 13 years old from Philadelphia and had never spent time in nature before meeting me. A Court-Referred youth thru no fault of her own, April was a joy to work with.

The Rappel to the bank of the Potomac River occurred in Virginia at Great Falls State Park. The summit shot is on Bearfence Mountain, a 20 minute rock scramble from the Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park.
