Purpose
This is an informational site designed to provide pathways that promote personal development. The content is based on decades of frontline experience in education and counseling. The theoretical framework comes from a career-long study of paradigm-creating educators; while using a synthesis of their teachings and techniques in professional positions held and programs developed. The bibliography will highlight the contributors. The multi-faceted benefits of a connection with a wilderness environment is stressed with protocols from top outdoor programs to facilitate the process. A blogpost accompanies the site that will be created on travels through our National Parks, Forests and Recreation Areas. Tips for travel in the area are provided as well as evaluation of public and dispersed campsites. Blogs relate to the website and provide tools for personal growth in addition to examples of individuals, programs and educators of excellence.

Pictured are Carlton and Neiman Marcus at the Virgin River in Zion National Park. The top photo shows Willie and Troy on the summit of Old Rag Mountain in Shenandoah National Park. I have guided hundreds to similar spots. In addition, I have developed related experiential initiatives for court-referred youth, scouts, public and private school students, and a variety of groups and organizations. References and photographs will document personal expertise and the power of these developmental principles and paradigms.
